Why ME, what have I done to deserve this. Next year has got to be better and I don't mean 2009 I MEAN 2010.
The sooner this one has gone and the new one has started the better.
Computer software engineers need shooting, customers who cancel jobs on the day you start need strangling and suppliers need hanging up by their....think I'd better stop.

On the bright side only another 352 to go to next Christmas.

Happy new year to you all, I hope you all had a good one and got what you wanted or in the case of SOFTWARE engineers deserve which is a good stuffing, not that I'm bitter.
So what have you missed, The New Year's Party was the usual fantastic success it always is, all tickets were sold by the beginning of December, I am sorry to all those on the waiting list that didn't manage to get tickets, better luck next year. And NO I am not taking bookings for next year's tickets now.
250 people came along most dressed in Black tie and posh frocks, the never ending buffet was the usual success. Thanks to those who didn't pick up their ice cream orders, gave us something to eat while dropping all of the gear.
The portrait photo's will be at jive next Thursday, just waiting for the mounts to arrive.
Thanks to all who helped set up and take down, it made everything so much easier.
A big thanks to Nelson and Karen for putting on such a great evening.
So what next.
The After Christmas party, tickets are now on sale.
It is being held on the 16th of January at The Corn Exchange.The cost is £7 and as usual the spaces will be limited.
So what is so special about the after Christmas parties:
- There will be great songs being sung and occasionally murdered.
- We have had people dancing, playing with their instruments and also juggling.
- About five years ago nelson juggled while stripping, think it is time for that to be revived ( just so we know why its only every five years)
- We are looking for acts to entertain us, if we don't get enough I might have to sing and you wouldn't want that.
So if you can sing, dance (stupid thing to say to jivers) tell jokes entertain in any way let me know.
